This model started as a drawing made by a friend (who assured me it was a ghost and not a dapper whale). From the simple sketch I extrapolated a 3D form.
Original drawing - I made a few alterations with size.
Rough first shaping in sculpting foam.
More defined body with some accessories.
The accessories where sculpted in foam and wire, the eyes are made of pins.
Hands and cane where made with air-drying clay. The cane is removable.
With my hand for size reference.
At this time, Mr. Phantom is a few sandings and coats of paint away to be done.
His moustache even glows in the dark thanks to g.i.t.d fimo clay.
